Producion IG está animando lo que será una película totalmente dibujada a mano, Giovanni no Shima (Giovanni's Island).
Mizuho Nishikubo (Musashi: The Dream of the Last Samurai, Video Girl Ai) dirige la película, el guión es de Shigemichi Sugita (From the Northern Lands) y Yoshiki Sakurai (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Blood+).
La película la presenta la Japan Association of Music Enterprises (JAME) para celebrar el 50 aniversario y Warner Entertainment Japan estrenará la película en la gran pantalla la primavera de 2014, mientras Production IG se ocupará del estreno a nivel internacional.
