Narration: In the cooking that followed---- Komatsu took on the challenge fair and square without using his "Melk Kitchen Knife".
His reason was that if Buranchi weren't there, he probably would never have been able to get the knife in the first place.
But the dishes he made earned the approval of the judges, made up of G7 and others, and he incredibly made it to the top 50!
Next, the 2nd preliminary match---- was a competition testing cooking speed. "Scale Death Cooking".

Having trained in "Food Honor", Komatsu also narrowly progressed through here.
Next, the 3rd preliminary match, "Entire Island Cooking", he also managed to clear.
For his first Cooking Fest, Komatsu was doing incredibly.
He had made it to the "Championship Tournament" where the final 30 compete!!
