In a bold move aimed at reshaping the future of the Counter-Strike division of Apeks, the Board has decided to start a comprehensive rebuild plan. The decision comes after a thorough evaluation of the team’s performance and a commitment to long-term success.
Effective immediately, all players and coaches in our CS2 team, have been placed on the transfer list. This signals our intention to begin a process where we intend to rebuild the entire CS2 division.
Fans can expect to see familiar faces depart, but the club remains committed to transparency throughout this process. We are determined to finish the season – upcoming tournaments and events. We encourage fans to stand behind the players in these challenging times.
“There is no denying that we have had a rough time after the Paris Major. We have failed to create a team that can perform at the highest level, and we don’t see any future in the team the way it looks now. Because of that, transfer listing the whole team is a hard but necessary decision. We will remain committed to build a CS team that can compete with the best, and the club is excited for the opportunities this rebuild represents. Some might stay, some might leave, but the ambition remains the same. I would also like to give huge props to our players and coaches for doing everything they could to make the team work, unfortunately we could not do it in the end.”- COO Anders Kjær.
The club will provide updates on player transfers and other developments throughout the rebuild process.
