danny "frod" montaner retires; mason moved up
it is with great sadness, yet appreciation, complexity announces that our long time friend and teammate danny "frod" montaner has decided to retire from professional gaming.
danny first joined complexity in 2004 following the break up of united5. during the early days, he was often tagged "online" by his doubters, a claim which today seems absurd. frod traveled the world bringing home championships for the col community and is widely regarded as one of the top awpers in history, if not the very best. during col's cs 1.6 run, danny often took over entire matches and turned the tide for the team. his dedication, work ethic and passion for gaming will always be remembered.
in his place, we are happy to announce the promotion of mason "mason" dickens. mason is a long time friend of complexity, and his brother matt is our oldest active member. mason will immediately move from houston to the complexity house in dallas, texas. we are confident his pre-existing chemistry with the team will prove to be a decisive advantage as we enter the 2008 cgs season. justin "sunman" summy is also on our taxi team and will be available if needed. he is currently busy playing 1.6 and pursuing his love of cat breeding.
danny will be sorely missed. we wish him the very best of luck as he ventures into his next career, that of a las vegas bodyguard for wayne newton. in his spare time you'll probably see him playing some 1.6 or pursuing his passions for bingo and bird watching.
