zOo come from the upper bracket and only need the first map, de_nuke to win. Along the way they have beaten freelancers, deadlyBullets, bangcock and 3rd place finishers redLine. On Tuesday Verygames beat the team that knocked them into the lower bracket, redLine. In the lower bracket Verygames have taken out Reason-Gaming, bangcock, forze, freelancers, and tera-gaming.
The first map is de_nuke and if Verygames win the first map they will also need to beat zOo on de_dust2 to claim victory. zOo need only win 1 map as they have come from the upper bracket and are so far undefeated.
In other news, congratulations to RegLess and SEC| who won £500 and £250 respectively in the Play Pro, Get Hard II event for the lower sections of the ED CSS Open Ladder.
Another event is open for sign ups today and it is the return of our Joint Operations format. 2 teams join up to form 1 squad for the evening. 10v10 on large maps and guaranteed fun and laughs between friendly clans. If you have a team you are friendly with and want to participate please read the rules (the requirement of a 21 slot server mainly) and get signed up and comment in the forum thread with your team partner to confirm participation. The event takes place on Monday the 29th of December, so just in between festivities and a great time to catch up with clan mates and friends after the big day.
