Instalacion en linux...

Hola buenas tardes. Hoy me he instalado ubuntu 7.04, lo instale perfectamente pero ahora cuando tengo que instalar los drivers tengo un gran problema, este:

Quiero instalar los drivers de sonido, tuve suerte porque con el cd de la placa base ya me vienen, y con instruciones, me dice esto:

Extract and go to alsa-driver-1.0.10rc3 folder:
```
     tar jxvf alsa-driver-1.0.10rc3.tar.bz2

    ./configure
    make
    make install       &#61664;  install driver
    ./snddevices      &#61664;  to create new sound devices in /dev directory.
```

Note: For further instruction on how to install alsa driver, you also can view it in “INSTALL” Alsa driver folder.

Extract and go to alsa-lib-1.0.10rc3 folder:
```
    tar jxvf alsa-lib-1.0.10rc3.tar.bz2

    ./configure
    make
    make install
```

Note: For further instruction on how to install lib, you also can view it in “INSTALL” lib folder.

Extract and go to alsa-utils-1.0.10rc3 folder:
```
    tar jxvf alsa-utils-1.0.10rc3.tar.bz2

    ./configure
    make
    make install
```

After utils successfully installed, do the following for ALSA Configuration:

        alsaconf             ALSA Configurator

Abro el terminal pongo "tar jxvf..." me carga todo el pack pero cuando pongo "./configure" o "/configure" me dice q ese comando no existe. alguien podria ayudarme? gracias

Instala alsa desde repositorios, siempre será mucho más fácil :p

Abre el synaptic (Sistema > Administración > Gestor de paquetes) y busca alsa, e instalalo.

De todos modos se me olvido, para compilar necesitas el build-essentials (sudo apt-get install build-essentials o ponlo en el synaptic)
