Japanese game news blog Ryokutya has reported from the latest Jump magazine that Bandai Namco and Arc System Works’ upcoming Dragon Ball 2.5D fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ, has three more characters in the playable roster. They are Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black.
Beerus is the God of Destruction who made his debut in the first saga of Dragon Ball Super. He can place a Sphere of Destruction that will explode if the enemy touches it. His Meteor special attack is Judgment of the God of Destruction where he grapples the enemy followed by a rush of pokes to their forehead.
Hit is known as the Legendary Assassin from Universe 6. His movements and attacks often involve instant teleportations. His Meteor attack can stop time while launching a flurry of attacks.
Goku Black is the main antagonist of the Future Trunks Saga in Dragon Ball Super. His Meteor special attack, The Works of the God, turns his hand into a blade to attack, after which he makes a double to attack together. Zamasu will also appear in Goku Black’s moveset, where he can restrain the opponent.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam in North America and Europe on January 26, and Japan will get it later on February 1.
