Hmm I figured I'll add my two cents. I'll admit I haven't read back through all the posts so I may be repeating some stuff that's already been suggested.
Centre weighted Cone of Fire - goes without saying this would be a great improvement and it's be argued to death. It's a few minutes work to implement and would satisfy 90% of players.
Smaller COF based on stance - If your crouch or prone the diameter of your COF should be smaller. Maybe not much, but altering your stance to something more stable should have a benefit.
Increase the damage of the Garand and Kar98 when using Ironsights - Maybe a bit controversial this, but bear with me. If you make all the rifles do 90 damage when fired "from the hip" and 100 damage fired from the sights you make the rifle class what it should be. Of course those who strafe shoot with rifles will hate it because (in the Kar's case) are no-longer one-shot kills but it will even things out and you'll reward them with a single kill if they actually use a rifle like a rifle and bother to aim it properly.
Get rid of the Bazooka/Panzerschrek class and replace them with the Carbine/G43 - Do we even need them any more? The 'zooka guys are like the Leroy Jenkins of your squad. Unlike 1.3 theres no real job for them to do and people only seem to play this class because they want the Carbine or Mauser or think its a Rocket Deathmatch game. Give them a worthwhile task/contribution to the game or get rid of them.
Give mappers more control via entities - One of the things which helps give DoD is longevity is the custom maps and content that the community makes. There are some very creative people out there and the more variation that can come out of maps the better.
Some examples:
Moveable spawns support. There are a lot of maps that would benefit from spawns moving forward once objectives are captured.
Option of making "para" type maps if the custom mapper so wishes. I'm not suggesting their be official para maps as a lot of people hate them, but there are a lot of "us" who liked them and letting custom mappers make them wouldn't hurt.
Bazooka/Panzershrek related entities. See above. Either give them something to do or get rid of them.
A couple of new maps - I know Valve already has one map in it's possesion that could go out, so release it already. Likewise, maybe consider some of the CAMP maps for official inclusion.
Get rid of the clone army - I appreciate this requires effort to make new art assets but just something as simple of having a different face on each class model and a different hat on a couple of classes would improve things no-end.
Theres a whole bunch of other stuff I can think of (and have thought how to implement it) but for now, the list above is what I would like to see changed at a minimum.[/i]

Por cierto parece ser que van a introcducir stats tipo TF2, segun informacion publicada tambien en esos foros tal y como posteo FuzZDad padre de uno de los creadores del dod original y que suele suministrar informacion fiable.
