Post Resumen de la info ---> http://us.battle.net/heroes/en/forum/topic/20748825132
-information on Arena mode will come literally soon
-due to the amount of community input, which they value and matters in their decision-making, requesting brawls ala Overwatch and Hearthstone the topic will be brought up for discussion and possible development; as the custom rules that define these modes are perhaps relatively easy to implement prioritization and a busy User Interface pipeline could be the biggest obstacles, they'll evaluate; they are open to suggestions
-over 160 people currently work on HotS, different groups of people do different things
-Blizzard look at streams, the forum, reddit, and receive regional input from community teams
-two week ptr starting on the week of August 29th for Machines of War content, unclear if it will all be available and when on the public test realm, referred to one map in particular at the start of ptr
-Alarak released week of September 13, Zarya released two weeks later
-Butcher is getting a rework
-they are inclined to show more information in-game, not only mmr but stats about player games, heroes, pick rates, etc.; interesting bit about Hotslogs being close; the discussions now are of how and when
-mmr is a static number, generally not moving much
-they think that their "systems" are largely doing well, nonetheless, so if they reset mmr they think you'll generally end up where you are and the created chaos isn't worth it; they claim that the tests people have done with multiple accounts demonstrate this
-their solution so far has been to adjust the mmr uncertainty at the beginning of seasons, and they appear open-minded to allowing players to adjust uncertainty at intermediate times (i.e. mid-season) to give them a little bit of time to climb faster, but if you lose you'll fall faster
-they claim they now have tools to continue making even big changes to mmr and matchmaking
-generic talents are being phased out
-spell shield can now be manually activated
-old replay support is possible but a low priority
-they made a decision pretty early on to not allow heroes to transfer between regions, no explanation for why but if people talk about this then they will react
-they are happy with the minion changes
-the MVP system just acknowledges players playing well (will be on the ptr), it doesn't affect mmr or rank as that is more problematic; 1 MVP and 4 secondary call-outs; there might be a second phase with more stats, and they might eventually rename it too; they are exploring whether it could make sense to measure legitimate personal performance and have that affect mmr/rank
-no answer to when the number of battlegrounds at a time will be limited as they think the existing number of battlegrounds is manageable for experienced players; they are considering what to do but they basically have no idea
-they are reluctant to introduce map bans due to matchmaking complications, but will continue to talk about and look at it, open to feedback
-Tweet that Haunted Mines is working internally, but it's still in testing, then will talk about when to insert, understand people want it back
-hero swapping in drafts more likely for custom games due to tournaments for instance, but they are reluctant to introduce it generally due to increased friction between people, they'll keep talking about it(tm)
-map editor has always been a goal, a lot of work though, and is treated as a low priority so they are even talking about more minor adjustments people can make like shorter/longer cooldowns
-ranked system is a good start, can make changes, nothing specific, will correct points being lost when promoting or demoting (however not even sure it's coming for season 2, but a German Community Manager has stated the fix will be in for season 2)
-they look at win rates, pick rates, etc. going through the roster when deciding to make balance and overhaul changes; but do have to pace themselves not to screw up too much; expect them to continue doing this forever
-they want to do clans/guilds, and are even excited for them and like them a lot, to help players find others to play with; they believe team league is the best way to play this game; they are getting through a bunch of big work right now but this should be the next social feature
-plans for integrated voice chat, a battle.net client voice chat is being tested, first that one and is only for friends, then apparently a HotS one you could opt in
-simulation speed is a problem, which is why rejoining is slow, trying to improve without doing the lots of work necessary, don't expect too much but feelings are shared
-watching e-sports in-game and spectating is a bunch of work for heavily used teams but is a desired feature
-don't want to introduce costly gold mounts because many players wouldn't like it, if they do this they would want another way to get these mounts
-gifting a bunch of work too, even involves an independent battle.net team, it's on a list of hundreds of things they would like to do
-want to revisit the hero level progression, 20 is a problematic cap while they like 1-10, even want to "revamp" the system, this is a bigger priority for them
-hero category quests in ranked play (unsure whether it would apply to unranked draft) will turn into just-play quests in order to not interfere with drafting; will be able to complete multiple quests at once just by playing anything; this change might be in the coming patch
-intend to put more information on/revamp the score screen, for some reason in relation to or after or maybe as the MVP system expands, the question was about putting more information in the match history - statistics, battle tags, etc. - which is different
-recently there has been a push to add higher skill-cap heroes but it's not their desire to continue making only these type of heroes, they want more balance
-there are improvements coming to auto-select probably aimed at giving more control over or limiting the random selection, although they may not be extensive this is something they could further work on; involving skins and mounts sounds cool too; it's something they would make incrementally better rather than revamp at once
-loss forgiveness for circumstances like someone disconnecting, trolling, etc. is on their radar, there's stuff like that even coming up, they'll "try to ease that [problem] up a little bit"
-Arena mode is not intended to push out another mode, but they'll watch how queues are split and what behavior could emerge
