Q: I can't play any of the campaign levels - the "Play STEALTH BASTARD" menu just shows a single level called "0".
A: If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 and have installed the game to a directory you do not have administrator privileges for (e.g. Program Files), Windows UAC (User Account Control) can prevent the game from creating the files it needs to run.
The solution is to ensure you have the latest version of the game, then install it somewhere outside of Program Files (e.g. to C:\StealthBastard). If you have installed the game to Program Files, you can try running the game by right-clicking on StealthBastard.exe and choosing "Run as administrator", but this is not guaranteed to work (and you may need to do this every time you run the game).
Q: I updated the game and all my progress has been lost!
A: Your progress through the campaign levels is stored locally in the directory where you installed the game - just make sure you install the new version of the game in the same directory as it was previously installed.
Q: The game gets stuck on the "Team Stealth Bastard" screen and doesn't load any further. When I press Esc, the game asks me if I want to "abort the connection".
A: This means the game is unable to connect to the Stealth Bastard servers. Assuming you have a working internet connection, it probably just means our server is overloaded / having a hiccup. You can try waiting a few minutes for the server to resolve itself, or press Esc to play in Offline Mode (you won't be able to write to the leaderboards or download new custom levels).
Q: The game runs really slowly / my FPS is dropping for no apparent reason.
A: We're aware of a memory leak in the game that causes this, and are looking into it. Until we're able to fix the issue, quitting the game and restarting it should restore the game to 60 FPS.
Q: My objects keep disappearing in the Level Editor, but when I press F1 to test my level, they're back again.
A: Don't worry, your objects are still there! This just means you've disabled the visibility of certain layers in the Editor. Press L to see the shortcuts for toggling various layers, and check out the Level Editor Tutorial bundled with the game if you need more guidance with the Editor. (Right-click in the Editor, then go to Tools->View Editor Tutorial.
Q: The game controls are broken! The movement is reversed / doesn't work.
A: We've had a few users report this issue, but unfortunately haven't been able to reproduce it on our end, so haven't been able to figure out what causes it. (If anyone has any theories or more information that could help us pin down the problem, please do let us know!)
