When the game first game out, in a multiplayer game I had 14 zealots and they were all killed by two Reapers. Those two reapers were unreachable because of their speed and were slowly killing me and there was no unit that early in the game that could kill them. My only counter was to rush build another unit if I knew the Reapers were coming, but switching unit build order simply isn't possible so early in the game.
I made a well written letter and forum post why this was unbalanced. There was no such thing as a ground unit being unreachable in the first game to another ground unit. Blizzard said the game was fine and people didn't know how to play.
Four months later Reapers were fucked hard with many nerfs, but it was too little too late. I don't care about Starcraft 2 anymore and the imbalance they are always placing on units with the idea of counter units specifically catering to further fuck up the game's equilibrium.
Starcraft 2 is only an E-sport cause it sold well, even W.o.W was an E-sport. Let that sink in. W.o.W, an E-sport.
