Sorry for the delay, this should've been posted yesterday because I(Diamond's wife) got a burn and couldn't make it in time.
Finally the first day of All-Star tournament is over. During this day I felt something like thousand different emotions – from frustration to happiness.
To express how nervous you are while starting to play one vs one against good or probably one of the best Chinese players is beyond words. It was very thrilling and amazing, and fans support during the game was wonderful as well. Not to mention the fact that I didn’t presume to take Caitlyn, which I played around 5 games in the last year and only one game – seriously. I was incredibly happy with win 1 vs 1 over all except for Korea atm.
Two matches against South Korea were coming next. From my point of view, the analytic skills of the players from this region are the highest among all other.
The first match was quite good for us since Lee Sin Ryze and Jayce did their best to feed all our three lanes. Unfortunately we lost because of really dumb mistakes and lack of preparation to our opponents in terms of team composition.
The second match was awful, since even at the beginning we managed to let our opponents to go ahead with the way stronger pick, and after that it was simply impossible to catch up them, that’s why the result was quite predictable. Though, the good thing is that from these games we studied the capabilities of our opponents and this will help us a lot if we compete with them one more time.
