En las últimas horas, ha aparecido el rumor de que Riot estaría planteandose crear su propio estadio en Corea, igual que tiene en EU y NA, desde el que emitir la LCK.
No se sabe si esto afectaria a su acuerdo con la OGN y SPOTV, que papel tendria la Kespa en todo esto y tampoco está confirmado, el dia 13 saldremos de dudas en principio:
It seems that there will be an exclusive stadium for the LCK, just like the NA and EU.
Riot Games (Riot) said that there will be an announcement about construction and operation of the LCK-exclusive stadium, held at 2 PM on November 13th (KST).
Riot also said, “We’ve been thinking for a long time as to how we can provide the best environment and experiences to the world-class teams, players, fans, and other related parties, so that the LoL Champions Korea (LCK) can develop continuously. We would like to announce the result of that consideration.”
This is the first time that a news about building and operating the LCK-exclusive stadium is known to the public, and no other information except the announcement has been revealed.
There are eSports stadiums built and managed by Riot in the NA and EU, but the LoL leagues in Korea have been held at the OGN eSports Stadium in Sangam and Nexon Arena in Gangnam.
