Team Curse is proud to announce a new team focusing on Guild Wars 2 has officially been signed! As the leader in competitive E-Sports, Team Curse is excited to sign such a wonderfully talented and innovative team, and is excited to see what lies in the future for these intrepid pro-gamers!
Team Captain Saeed "Xeph" Al Neaimi! Xeph, a former Counter-Strike gamer with three Electronic Sports World Cups under his belt, is also well known for his aggressive roaming gameplay and his innovative Mesmer build, currently considered the most popular and effective Mesmer build in the game. As Team Captain, he has led the team to victory at the Kings of Beta Tournament, the GuildWars2Pro Tournament, and the ESL Tournament, as well as a third place victory at the Curse Masters of the Mist Tournament. His twitch can be found at www.twitch.tv/Xephtp.
John "Symbolic" Sampson, a relative newcomer to the competitive scene, may not be as credentialed as his team peers, but has built up quite a reputation for his aggressive and powerful play style, becoming one of the top roaming Necromancers and defensive Rangers in the game. His twitch can be found at www.twitch.tv/Symbollix.
Seth "Phantaram" Summerlin is one of the longest-running Elementalist players of Guild Wars 2, having played the role since the first beta weekend. Originally playing under Team Paradigms NA team on the North American servers, he transferred to the European Union team after being recognized for his talent and innovative play-style. His twitch can be found at http://www.twitch.tv/phantaram.
Sascha "Teldo" Busch is a long-time competitive player with experience in World of Warcraft, League of Legends, and Bloodline Champions. After earning several Rank 1 Titles in WoW and Bloodline Champions and Rank 2 in the European Preseason 1 ELO updates in League of Legends, Teldo went on to play an aggressive roaming Engineer, pulling as much attention as possible both in-game and off. Teldo is recognized as one of the most active and spectacular innovators of the Engineer class. His twitch can be found at http://www.twitch.tv/teldoo.
Finally, Kasper "Azshene" Lindskov Adersen is a pro-gamer with several professional accolades. Having been a long-time casual Counter-Strike player, Azshene found a calling in World of Warcraft, achieving several Gladiator and Rank 1 titles during Burning Crusade. After the release of Wrath of the Lich King, Azshene rerolled a Priest, achieving several Rank 1 titles through Season 11 and the Cataclysm expansion. After leaving World of Warcraft to join Team Paradigm on Guild Wars 2, Azshene and friends have become a dominant force in the European scene, becoming victors in all but one of the tournaments they have participated in. A great support player and amongst the first guardians to adopt the use of selfless bunkering with a staff and sanctuary, Azshene is an innovator and true master of the arts.
We look forward to seeing what this team can do, and know that the future of Guild Wars 2 competitive will be an exciting one indeed! For more information on previous tournaments, team classes, and the team roster, visit http://mistpedia.net/index.php/Team_Curse.
