"Se dice nucelar".
Esta broma ya la he visto en Los Simpson y en Padre de Familia, y me suena de algún sitio más, pero no sé de dónde viene exactamente. En inglés parecen decir "nukular".
¿Conocéis el origen?

Mi teoría es que salió de Homer Simpson y en Padre de Familia simplemente parodian u homenajean el gag. De todas formas, puedo estar completamente equivocado.
SALU2
Editado: En efecto, estaba completamente equivocado xD
Se ve que mucha gente de los estados unidos pronuncian incorrectamente la palabra nuclear y dicen nuculer , por ejemplo George Bush.
Sobre Nukular segun he leido es correcto solo que tienen otro singnificado mas bien el de la explosion.
Mirar que encontre :
The necessity to always speak properly only applies to Republicans. When Dubya says "nuculer" he is an idiot (and yes when he says it my hackles go up too). Dubya has an M.B.A., he's an imbecile. Algore flunked out of divinity school (that means he flunked God) he is a genius. Dubya knows how to fly a fighter jet. An obvious moron. Algore has to have a driver to get from point A to point B. Clearly he is gifted beyond words.
A lo mejor es una broma que un senador se equivoco al pronunciarlo y lo utilizo el homer para hacer un gag sobre ese republicano.
Ojo a esto:

o_O
They booed Attorney General John Ashcroft and hissed at Vice President Dick Cheney. Every time Bush said a word that sounded like "nu-cu-ler," they shouted a correction.
"It's nuclear!"
Bush's pronunciation of the word has become a flashpoint for his critics. In just three syllables, they hear an aristocratic upbringing, a Texas swagger and a disdain for details.
Podemos deducir que el gag es para George Bush aunque el capitulo no es mas antiguo que cuando salio Bush?
Ok ya lo encotre mirar :
The writers of The Simpsons poked fun at the pronunciation years before Bush popularized it. Homer, a safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, once corrected someone who used the normal pronunciation.
"New-cu-ler," Homer said. "It's pronounced new-cu-ler."
Woodworth, a utility consultant in Illinois, derides both Bush and Homer on his Web site, which he created to oppose the Iraq war.
"It's not that (Bush) is as stupid as Homer by any stretch," says Woodworth. "But he is happily ignorant. Whenever he says it, it is like he doesn't care."
(Woodworth is also bothered by people who say "Warshington.")
