The Thirteen Senses Story
Thirteen Senses started out as Soul Magician. Soul Magician began in school when Will South started writing songs which he showed Adam Wilson. Adam liked the songs and left the other band he was in at the time, Soul Magician really took off when Will and Adam met Tom Welham. Tom knew Brendon James and they all became friends.
Soul Magician released an EP by the name of ‘Inside a Healing Mind’, which was produced by Leon Phillips. It consisted of four tracks, one of which was later released as a b-side. ‘Attracting Submission’ is found on the Do No Wrong 7” vinyl. After that came the ‘No Other Life Is Attractive’ EP; the first Thirteen Senses release, produced by Dare Mason. This had five tracks. Four out of five of these tracks have been released as b-sides, the exception being the lengthy track, ‘Sound’. The next release to come from the band was ‘Falls In The Dark’, their first album. This was also produced by Dare Mason. The album had thirteen tracks on it. Four of these tracks have not been re-released.
After ‘Falls In The Dark’, Thirteen Senses released their first single, ‘Thru The Glass’. This was released on one CD and a 7” vinyl record. The b-side was identical on both releases. ‘No Other Life Is Attractive’ has become a firm favourite of many Thirteen Senses fans. The next single to be released, often called the first single because of the limited availability of ‘Thru The Glass’, was ‘Do No Wrong’. Two CDs and a 7” vinyl, making a total of 5 tracks and one video, were released. ‘Do No Wrong’ reached number 38 in the official UK singles chart. To promote the release of ‘Do No Wrong’, Thirteen Senses went on tour, including a homecoming gig at the Hall For Cornwall in Truro.
The third single from the band was ‘Into The Fire’. This was also released on two CDs and a vinyl record, meaning more new b-sides. ‘Into The Fire’ won the band more fans and was extensively used on BBC 1's Match of the Day. After this came a re-release of 'Thru the Glass' which broke the group into the top 20. A re-release of debut album ‘The Invitation’ reached an impressive 14 in the charts.
The band toured both in the UK and Europe in 2005 and made several appearances at festivals such as Glastonbury, T in the Park and V.
The band spent much of the latter part of 2005 and early 2006 in the studio, working on their next album. It's now complete, and expected to be released in Autumn 2006.

Letra:
Come on, come on
Put your hands into the fire
Explain, explain
As I turn I meet the power
This time, this time
Turning white and senses dying
Pull up, pull up
From one extreme to another
From the summer to the spring
From the mountain to the air
From Samaritan to sin
And its waiting on the air
Come on, come on
Put your hands into the fire
Explain, explain
As I turn I meet the power
This time, this time
Turning white and senses dying
Pull up, pull up
From one extreme to another
From the summer to the spring
From the mountain to the air
From Samaritan to sin
And its waiting on the air
Now I'm low I'm looking out, I'm looking in
Way down, the lights are dimmer
Now I'm low I'm looking out, I'm looking in
Way down, the lights are dimmer
Ooooh
Come on, come on
Put your hands into the fire
Come on, come on

Letra:
Red letters on the dashboard, oh what a GAP
They pursue us to the deep end and then depart
Watch as the cracks in the wall feel pain
For only patterns on a snake's back give us genuine fear
And I cannot lie, faces drop into the fire
I get by all the time on a shelf above the door
And it shouldn't be clear but it's not for me to decide
It's a delicate degree
It's a number I can see
Could prison cells be in my brain
For they're safe inside the cover of a dirty face
And everybody finds a college graduate with joy
While I'm happy just sipping tonic water with lemon and lime
And I cannot lie, faces drop into the fire
I get by all the time on a shelf above the door
And it shouldn't be clear but it's not for me to decide
It's a delicate degree
It's a number I can see
You sit at home up late at night
When it's beginning to arrive
And honestly
I don't see the need for any routines
I'm all out of sync, I cover my cuts
And hope they are fixed before I get hurt again
And all this ground beneath my feet
Has decided not to crumble into the sea
I walked in a house, it smelt of paint
And the ceiling it has no trouble with me
¿que os parece su musica?
