Nominaciones Emmy 2006

Un año más la lista de los Emmy sale a la luz, y, como siempre, disgusta a algunos y alegra a otros.
Las más repetidas han sido "24", con 12 nominaciones, y "Anatomía de Grey", con 11, en la categoría de Drama; "Will & Grace", con 10 en su última temporada, en Comedia; y la más nominada con 16, una miniserie, "Into the West". Otras a señalar son las habituales "The West Wing" (El ala oeste de la Casa Blanca), "Los Soprano", "Arrested Development", "Curb your Enthusiasm", "Six Feet Under" (A dos metros bajo tierra); u otras más novedosas como "The Office", "Two and a Half Men" o "House".
La mayor sorpresa ha venido al verse fuera dos de las ganadoras del año pasado, "Lost" y "Desperate Housewives" (Mujeres Desesperadas), en las categorías importantes. Por otro lado, Anatomía de Grey ha sido la tapada al conseguir un puesto en la deseada categoría de mejor drama.
Entre los actores y actrices aparecen algunos perdedores habituales como Martin Sheen (The West Wing), Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) o Kiefer Sutherland (24), antiguos ganadores como Tony Shalhoub (Monk) Allison Janey (The West Wing) o Debra Messing (Will & Grace), y muchas sorpresas al incluirse a las renovadas Julia Louis-Dreyfuss (The New Adventures of Old Christine) y Lisa Kudrow (The Comeback), ambas antiguas ganadoras; además de Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: SVU), Denis Leary (Rescue Me), Geena Davis (Commander in Chief), Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) o Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU).
Por el contrario, asombran las ausencias de James Gandolfini y Edie Falco (Los Soprano), James Spader (Boston Legal), Hugh Laurie (House), el reparto de "Mujeres..." (excepto Alfre Woodward como secundaria) o el de "Lost".

Los nominados fueron anunciados hace unos días por Brad Garret y Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, que no pudo ocultar su sorpresa al escuchar su nombre entre las candidatas. Y los ganadores se conocerán el 27 de Agosto en una gala presentada por Conan O'Brien.
