Cuando hago un test de velocidad de conexión me indica una conexión de 6 megas de bajada y 1 de subida, con 30 ms, pero en el wow la latencia m sube de 200 a 600 (cosa muyy esxagerada). Puedo bajar la latencia de alguna forma en el juego? Mi pc no tiene problema ninguno de capacidad para jugar perfectamente a wow sin problemas
Fasterping es la solucion, aunque en windows 7 no funciona y tienes que cambiar una cosa en el registro.
Para los que tienen el windows7 que hay que cambiar?
He leido por ahi que ya viene optimizado este registro de serie, aunque no se si es verdad.
Por cierto, el faster ping ha sido criticado por ahi diciendo que solo es una forma de trucar el analizador de ms del wow y lo que tu ves no es lo que de verdad tienes...no se si sera cierto (yo en el windows xp lo tenia y si tenia menos pero habia veces que me notaba lagueado y me ponia 90 ms...un poco falso no? )
P.D: Si tienes telefonica ultimamente va muy mal con el wow pero nadie te ofrece la solucion (te lo digo porque he llamado a atencion al cliente y...nada). Blizz se desentiende de tu lag, que no es culpa suya vamos..

Con xp lo hize y si tenias poco ping , pero era un puto fake , tenias lag y aun asi te ponia ke tenias 50 60 de ping , venga hombre XDDDD

Para hacer funcionar Fasterping en windows 7 teneis que cambiar lo siguiente:
basically windows user type “regedit” in windows “run..” dialog to bring up registry menu then find:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\
Parameters\Interfaces\There will be multiple NIC interfaces listed in there, find the one you use to connect to the internet, there will be several interfaces listed (they have long names like {7DBA6DCA-FFE8-4002-A28F-4D2B57AE8383}. Click each one, the right one will have lots of settings in it and you will see your machines IP address listed there somewhere. Right-click in the right hand pane and add a new DWORD value, name it TcpAckFrequency, then right click the entry and click Modify and assign a value of 1.
you can change it back to 2 (default) at a later stage if it affects your other TCP application performance. it tells windows how many TCP packets to wait before sending ACK. if the value is 1, windows will send ACK everytime it receives a TCP pckage. sounds straight forward to me.
