#20160 Brutal, no lo había visto.
He visto un poco el vídeo de asmongold, no me lo he acabado, y me he sentido bastante identificado con este comentario.
When the news dropped that Classic WoW was coming Summer 2019, I was super excited. The first week was pretty fun, until I realized that players had discovered the fastest way to level was cleave dungeon groups. "I thought Classic would be different" I thought, but that didn't dissuade me. I hit Max level, I farmed my pre-raid BIS, I farmed consumes, I raided, I got gear, I had fun! But... then the fun started to fade. "What happened? I thought this was fun." I couldn't do it anymore. Consumes were now at an inflated price. Farming most of the mats myself was slow and tedious. All this work, to make one of the only fun parts of the game go faster? The people who I originally joined my guild to play with were either kicked or left. Those who stayed were stuck in 8+ hours of "Honor farming" in AV. Some kept with it, and others quit the game at around rank 10.
It then dawned on me. The Classic WoW I wanted to play existed back in 2005, when people just played for fun, and very few people actually got world buffs and flasked for raids. The difference was the players. Now everyone can look up a BIS list with proper enchants and consumes. People cared more about min-maxing instead of playing with their friends.
Classic WoW didn't change... We did. In our quest for power, we destroyed the one thing we wanted most. Goodbye, Classic WoW. I will always remember the great times we had, but now it is time for me to log off.
