La encuesta (que está 100% en moonrunes) que nos plantea Atlus pretende conocer qué hábitos tienen los jugadores, tanto en temas relacionados con el mundo de los videojuegos como en otros aspectos. Una de las preguntas que hacen es bastante interesante, pues dicen, literalmente, "¿En qué plataforma deseas ver el próximo juego de la serie SMT?" Las respuestas posibles son PS4, 3DS, PS Vita, dispositivos móviles (Smartphones, Tablets, etc) o ninguna.
Atlus launched a survey among its customers today, asking a variety of questions about our gaming and non-gaming habits. Among those, there was also a fairly interesting one on the Shin Megami Tensei series.
The question asks on what platform you’d like to purchase a new Shin Megami Tensei game. The answer are PS4, 3DS, PS Vita, Mobile or none.
While this is not a firm indication that Atlus is actually considering those platforms for the next Shin Megami Tensei game, the fact that they asked is quite interesting. The series started on the oldest Nintendo consoles like Nes and Super NES, but after moving to PlayStation platforms, it has recently established itself on Nintendo portables, from the DS to the 3DS.
With the solid sales of the PS Vita in Japan, and the PS4 starting to carve its niche, Atlus might have decided to probe its customers on the possibility of expanding the game’s user base.
If you want to let them know what you think, you might want to answer to the questions of the survey yourself. Of course, it’s in Japanese, but if you don’t know the language, it’s fairly easy to understand using google translate.
