Un año más el maratón favorito de speedruns se celebra cerca de Washington, esta vez en el Hilton Washington Dulles Airport Hotel. Este año, como el pasado, todas las donaciones serán para la asociación de Prevención contra el Cáncer (así que preparaos para el festival de las historias tristes de nuevo).

Además os recordamos que a la conclusión del maratón siempre suele haber un Bonus stream donde habrá speedruns y cosas más casuals a modo de afterparty.
¿Qué es esto del speedrunning?
¿Has competido alguna vez con tus amigos intentando pasaros algún juego antes que el otro? Pues eso en esencia es el speedrunning. Los speedrunners compiten por lograr pasarse sus respectivos juegos, en sus respectivas categorías lo más rápido posible. ¿A qué nunca te habías planteado la posibilidad de ver The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time acabado en 19 minutos? Los speedrunners pueden hacerlo.
