NationsCup IX - Battlefield 2
by: aZ
As with all seasons, nations from all over Europe decide who has the strongest team and best teamwork, in this nearly olympic event of entertainment, powerplay, and national pride.
This Nations-Cup is the first one in Battlefield 2. Who is going to take it? Is it one of the favorites, such as Sweden or Germany, or we shall witness a rise of a surprising Battelfield 2 empire?
The supervisors for this season will be Israeli_Carb0n1zer, and aZtral. We will do our best to make this event as enjoyable for you as we possibly can, but if you have any suggestions or remarks, please do not hesitate to contact us in IRC #ClanBase.bf2 on Quakenet.
Rules
The ingame rules are same like the Battlefield2 Open Cup; check them out if you have not yet.
Therefore, matches will be played 8 vs. 8, on 16 players' map versions.
Signing up
Now it's up to you, team captains, to signup. Everyone who was selected to be the captain of his nation must send us an E-mail , showing his nickname, clan, ClanBase hid, country of which he is the captain, and a link to a website/IRC log showing that he has got the support.
Next step is to signup the national team. The national team's short name must be the 3 letters of its nation (or 2 in some cases) - for example, AUT for Austria or UK for the United-Kingdom.
Last date to signup: December 28th.
Cup admins
In order to make the cup successful and peaceful, we are looking for cup admins. Those are required to have the ability to write nicely in English and enough spare time to admin matches. If you want to be a cup admin and think you are qualified, click on the following link.
El resto de paises ya tienen hecho su seleccion con alguna excepcion pero las menos. Varias selecciones llevan casi mes y medio entrenando pero... Spain is different como dicen los guiris.
