So, just to try and summarise that info:
- Versus XIII had a lot of ideas thrown at it, but they didn't connect quite well.
- The confrontational scene between Noctis and Stella from early trailers was already removed from the game as of 2011.
- Stella's role was very focused on the FNC concepts and she also had very little screen time
- First game involved rescuing her from a Niflheim force
- Second game was reclaiming Insomnia
- Third game was battling the God's.
- The game was scrapped due to Nomura and his team being unable to solve technical issues with the game
If there is truth to this, it's good to see how XV has been focused into one cohesive story.
