It’s official! Cloud9 has formally added Jeong “Impact” Eon-yeong to their starting roster. An essential member of multiple LCS level teams for over 4 years, Impact’s exceptional top-laner skills will be an important asset to an already strong team.
He comes to Cloud9 from NRG eSports, where he helped propel the young roster to a 5th-6th place finish in the NA LCS 2016 Spring Split. He is perhaps best known for being a member of the Season 3 SK Telecom lineup that won the 2013 League of Legends World Championship. The 21 year old’s top lane play has been instrumental in a long line of playoff performances throughout his career.
Joining Impact on the starting Cloud9 LCS roster are William “Meteos” Hartman and Michael “BunnyFuFuu” Kurylo. Meanwhile, Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen and Zachary "Sneaky" Scuderi will retain their spots on the LCS lineup.
