La entrevista completa (en inglés) de la que habla el articulo de Trasgo, por si alguien tiene curiosidad:
After a very close game against H2K, which included a Blitzcrank pick from Hachani in the third game, we got to talk to Vitality's Support about the pick, the reasons as to why he was benched and his future with Team Vitality.
Hi Hachani, thank you very much for your time. You guys almost managed to beat H2K, a team that was heavily favoured against Vitality. How did you achieve that?
We played well in scrims already, we just can’t translate this onto the main stage. We will do better though.
A lot of people were surprised about your Blitzcrank pick, it’s been almost two years since the last time we saw it in EU LCS. How come you decided to pick this champion?
We didn’t prepare this pick specifically. But the enemy team picked Caitlyn and Zyra, which is a very hard matchup to lane against. But if I pick Blitzcrank, it becomes a lot easier. I think it was the right pick (laughs).
Before you locked it in, it seemed like you had quite the discussion with Irean (Vitality’s coach). Did you have to convince him that you’d be allowed to pick it?
Irean: Hachani’s champion pool is actually pretty big, so we were able to let the enemy pick the Support first because we knew that we could counter them. I believe in Hachani and he proposed picking Blitzcrank. It was Steeelback who didn’t want to play with Blitzcrank, but we really believed in Hachani!
So you managed to convince Steeelback, well done. Hachani, what do you think of your situation at Vitality right now?
At the beginning, it was really hard because I had insomnia and had to learn speaking English at the time. But I think that we’re slowly growing as a team and we’ll be good once the Summer Split comes.
Was you getting benched related to the insomnia?
Yeah, I needed to get rest because I couldn’t sleep and couldn’t play the game.
Irean: Once Hachani got into the gaming house, he had a lot of problems like getting insomnia and not eating well. So he needed to take some rest and during these weeks we called up AOD because we practiced with him before. During this time Hachani improved his condition and as you can see he’s back now.
Hachani, do you like playing with Steeelback?
Steeelback is a very patient player, but I want to play more aggressive. I guess our style is different.
During a recent interview, Nukeduck said that you told GBM not to Jungle anymore. Why did you tell him that?
It wasn’t meant to be toxic, it was advice for him! I think that if he’d continue to play Jungle, he wouldn’t be able to be a pro player anymore (laughs). I just think that he’s a lot better at Mid and so I recommended him to focus on that.
Now that Vitality is going to finish the Spring Split in fourth place, what are your plans for the Summer Split?
First of all, we’re going to have a bootcamp in Korea. For myself, I need to defeat my insomnia, as it’s coming at the moment. So that’s the thing I’m focusing on right now.
