Another english-like thread to show off that you can write some words in another language?

What is the purpose of this thread?
I need to improve my english. when i was 20 years old i had a good level of english, but i have been 4 years without practise my english and i think i've lost part of my knowledge of it

meeting people on icq, skype or other chat programs is a good way to improve. you can speek with native english people who can tell you if youŽre saying things correctly or not. in exchange you can teach them spanish 
iŽve applied for a grant to the US to work there a whole year in portland, maine. iŽm waiting a call from their offices in seville for the interview, itŽs a great opportunity. itŽs a pity that i donŽt have the english level i had when i was 15, itŽs been long time since i didnŽt practice it and not going to an english academy.

Oh my god... this Xmas I think I won't do anything special because I have a really big cold that I brought from Prague.
I hope I'll be ok for new year's eve, thats my main objective now, recover myself and enjoing my 2 weeks in Spain.
PD: I like very much this idea of talking in English, I will support it until the end
