Jump, while off the GCD and fantastically good as a DPS ability with its 200 potency and 40s cooldown, will kill you.
While jumping, your position is treated as being where you started the jump from during the entire animation. If you even think an AOE might target you in the next 2-3 seconds, do not jump. You will die. It will be sad.
Worse, this is also the case for Spineshatter Dive and Elusive Jump: you are treated as being at the origin point until the animation ends and you can move again. Be very careful with using Elusive Jump to escape AOEs, unless you're absolutely sure the animation will conclude before the AOE cast finishes. Nothing is more painful than thinking you made it out of that Desolation and then getting hit for 3k+ damage.
